This Week I will be reviewing Terminator 2: Judgement Day the sequel to the classic Terminator.
"Terminator 2: Judgement Day" is a Science fiction action film Co Written by William Wisher and directed and produced James Cameron. It stars Arnold Schwarzenegger as the T-800, Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor, Robert Patrick as the T-1000 and Robert Ferlong as John Connor.
"Terminator 2: Judgement Day" follows Sarah Connor and her ten year old son John Connor, Sarah had been training John throughout his childhood to serve as the leader of the resistance movement against Skynet. Sarah is arrested and sent to a mental hospital leaving John with no one to guide or protect him. Another Terminator comes from the future The T-1000 sent by Skynet to end John's life and with it the rebellion. The John Connor of the future sends another T-800 back in time this one reprogrammed to protect his younger self.
"Terminator 2: Judgement" for its time was a marvel of visual effects and animation. It was the first film to use natural human motion for a computer generated character and the first to have a partially animated main character. Terminator was a massive success and it even had a massive impact on the film industry especially in the visual effects aspect. It even won four academy awards, one for Best Sound Editing, Best Sound Mixing, Best Makeup, and Best Visual Effects. It was the highest grossing film of Arnold Schwarzengger's career and of 1991. The American Film institute even rated it as one of the greatest action films, science fiction films, and sequels of all time.
I would fully recommend to anybody watch the Terminator films they are amazing!
