Spoilers ahead

"Terminator 3 Rise of the Machines" is an Science fiction action film, directed by Johnathan Mostow, Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Nick Stahl, Claire Danes, and Kristianna Loken.
"Terminator 3 Rise of the Machines" Takes place roughly a decade or so after the second film "Terminator 2 Judgement Day" Skynet failed in their attempt to go back in time and kill John(Nick Stahl) and Sarah Connor, but John cannot shake the belief that Judgement Day will happen despite stopping Skynet all those years ago. this time around Skynet send an even more advanced Terminator  designated the T-X(Kristianna Loken) to kill off key resistance members to cripple it before its even made. The resistance of the future sends a reprogrammed Terminator designated T-850(Arnold Schwarzenegger) to project John and his future wife Kate Brewster(Claire Danes).

The film was notably not directed or written by James Cameron the writer and director of the original two films. The only returning actor from the original two films was Arnold Schwarzenegger. "Terminator 3 Rise of the Machines" was an overall entertaining and fun movie to watch. It was quite as good as the first two but it was still a good terminator movie.  All around this film was great watch and I think that anyone who hasn't watched the Terminator series is missing out on amazing film series.

When I was watching the Terminator for the first time this spring, it was with my friends Logan, Alex, and Nick. It was a great experience as there was no moment during the film when I was bored. The Terminator series is an amazing piece of film. The Terminator for its time was a cinematic masterpiece, as the cinematography was a paragon of ingenuity and creativity the likes of which had rarely been seen thus far. The Film is so well renowned in fact that it is one of the few films in the United States National Film Registry for preservation. This movie is truly a must watch for anyone that likes classics or “old” movies in general. It might not hold up to today's cinematic standards but it’s still an amazing movie.

The music was extremely fitting and great to listen to. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Michael Biehn truly pulled the film with their stoic and stalwart acting. The Terminator was an amazing watch and enormously entertaining. I would recommend it to anyone looking to pass the time or looking for a great movie to watch.

"Nightcrawler" Review

"Nightcrawler"

Spoilers Ahead

This week I will be reviewing "Nightcrawler"
The story follows Lou Bloom(Jake Gyllenhaal) a petty thief in Los Angeles, he struggles to find work and resorts to stealing metal from constructions sites and selling it off. He tries to seek work at one of the construction sites but is rejected. On his way home Lou sees a car crash, he pulls over. Stringers (freelance photojournalists) arrive at the scene and begin recording and taking photos. Joe Lodder one of the stringers tells Lou that they sell their footage to local news stations. Spurred Lou steals and bike and uses it to acquire a  police radio scanner and a cam corder. Lou attempts to get crime scenes to record but fails.  Lou then records the aftermath of a fatal car jacking and sells it to a local news station. He meets the morning news director Nina Romina (Rene Russo). She tells Lou about their interest in footage like what recorded, violent and bloody footage. Lou hires an assistant, Rick a man desperate for work and money. Lou begins to tamper with accidents and crimes to make them more appealing for his footage even moving dead bodies.
Jake Gyllenhaal played Lou Bloom disturbingly well his character was a single minded, relentless perfectionist, his role was truly what made this movie for me, his acting was flawless. "Nightcrawler" is a dark and exciting thriller movie, I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a dark movie.

The story of "Sicario" follows FBI agent Kate Macer (Emily Blunt) as she is recruited by a suspicious government official, Matt Graver(Josh Brolin) to join a special task force led by the fierce and  shadowy Alejandro(Beneicio Del Torro) as they cross into mexico and back to pursue a dangerous Mexican drug lord (Julio Cesar Cedilo). As time goes by Kate begins to be distressed by the level of brutality and lack compassion her comrades show while across the border and gaining information. Her unswerving dedication to her morals puts her at odds with her ruthless comrades and herself, as she begins to believe their way is the only way to get the job done.
Sicario is an action crime, thriller movie, there is truly never a boring' moment in Sicario. The cinematography in "Sicario" is a amazing every one of the major scenes takes place in extremely detailed environments and extremely fluid, great looking action. The actors in this movie were truly amazing. Benecio Del Torro was amazing in his role his character was what truly made this movie for me, Alejandro was a dark, brooding, stoic unstoppable force. Emily Blunt's character was also stellar Kate Macer was a naive, moral and just immovable object.  Dennis Villenueve the Director of "Sicario" did an amazing job capturing the environment and making the movie seem real. Sicario was a great film I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a great thriller/action movie.

"Kingdom of Heaven" Review

"Kingdom of Heaven"

Spoilers ahead

This week I will be reviewing "Kingdom of Heaven"
"Kingdom of Heaven" Is a story of chivalry and lost faith, the story is set on the dawn of third crusade. The story begins in France with Balian of Ibelin a humble blacksmith, grief stricken by the suicide of his wife, a company of crusaders pass through his village and  offer him a chance to redeem himself and the soul of his wife by going to the holy land, Jerusalem. As it happened to be the leader of the crusaders is Balian's father who came in search of him. After a long journey Balian makes it to Jerusalem. He meets the king of Jerusalem Baldwin IV and he quickly begins to understand the fragile peace Baldwin holds with the Saracen king Saladin and the constant threat from zealots on both sides to begin war anew.
Kingdom of heaven is a very fictionalized account of the actual events that transpired in between the second and third crusades. Historical inaccuracies aside the movie a great watch. The acting was stellar everyone. The sets and props were amazing the movie visuals were stunning and immersive  The battle scenes were very well done and expansive. The films length was a little staggering but all the way through I was thoroughly entertained, I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quasi historical film, medieval with some good action.

"The Taking of Deborah Logan" Review

"The Taking of Deborah Logan"

Spoilers Ahead

As you can tell from the heading this time I will be reviewing the "The Taking of Deborah Logan".
"The taking of Deborah Logan" is a found footage horror film. It was a remarkably entertaining watch and genuinely scary film. The story follows a documentary crew making a film about the effects of Alzheimer's on Deborah Logan's physical and mental state, many strange happenings occur and the film crew becomes weary, as time goes on it becomes apparent that there is something more sinister at work within Deborah than just her disease. The taking of Deborah Logan is a superb movie, the acting was extraordinary believable. One of the most peculiar parts of this film was the found footage aspect, it has to be the least shaky found footage film I've ever seen. The film had me on the edge of my seat and the longer I watched the more I was engrossed this was never a boring moment for me while watching.  The taking of Deborah Logan was an all around great movie the acting was solid and realistic ,It as genuinely thrilling and scary. I would  recommend this to any horror movie fan it is a gem in a sea of mediocre films.

Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice Review

Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice

                                                                     Spoilers ahead
For this review as you can tell from the heading I will be reviewing Batman V Superman. I have very mixed feelings about the movie itself. Despite some of my feelings on it I really enjoyed the watching film, it was entertaining and worth every dime I spent on it.
Batman V Superman is a Superhero movie and follow up to the 2013 movie Man of Steel.
The primary theme of the plot is the  fear that the all powerful hero Superman (Henry Cavill) may turn his back on those he has sworn to protect. Batman (Ben Affleck)vindicated from the  events of the previous movie feels it is his duty to defeat superman or at least prepare in the events he does turn become drunk on power. Throughout the film tensions between Batman and Superman rise and a conflict begins.
Batman V Superman is a superb movie in terms of  special effects and action, the acting is top notch and so is the action, Ben Affleck's batman was a dark and brooding character jaded by his time fighting crime. Acting and action aside were it suffers is the plot. Batman and Superman's conflict is somewhat forced, many central plot points are left unexplained and the ones that are explained are extraordinarily stupid(Que Lex Luther). If you are a person who pays great attention to detail this movie will frustrate you to no end.
All in all though while some of its plot points were annoying, Batman V Superman : Dawn of Justice Never fails to entertain and was an extraordinarily fun movie to watch I would wholeheartedly recommend you to watch it.
