"Terminator 3 Rise of the Machines" Review

Terminator 3 "Rise of the Machines"

Spoilers ahead

"Terminator 3 Rise of the Machines" is an Science fiction action film, directed by Johnathan Mostow, Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Nick Stahl, Claire Danes, and Kristianna Loken.
"Terminator 3 Rise of the Machines" Takes place roughly a decade or so after the second film "Terminator 2 Judgement Day" Skynet failed in their attempt to go back in time and kill John(Nick Stahl) and Sarah Connor, but John cannot shake the belief that Judgement Day will happen despite stopping Skynet all those years ago. this time around Skynet send an even more advanced Terminator  designated the T-X(Kristianna Loken) to kill off key resistance members to cripple it before its even made. The resistance of the future sends a reprogrammed Terminator designated T-850(Arnold Schwarzenegger) to project John and his future wife Kate Brewster(Claire Danes).

The film was notably not directed or written by James Cameron the writer and director of the original two films. The only returning actor from the original two films was Arnold Schwarzenegger. "Terminator 3 Rise of the Machines" was an overall entertaining and fun movie to watch. It was quite as good as the first two but it was still a good terminator movie.  All around this film was great watch and I think that anyone who hasn't watched the Terminator series is missing out on amazing film series.

Spoilers Ahead

This Week I will be reviewing "The Terminator" a Science Fiction action movie.

"The Terminator" Is a cinematic classic written by Gale Ann Hurd and James Cameron and Directed by James Cameron. It stars Arnold Schwarzenegger as the titular Terminator, Michael Biehn as Sgt. Kyle Reese, and Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor.
In the year 1984 a Cyborg Assassin, known as “The Terminator”, is sent back in time from the year 2029 and begins killing people by the name of Sarah Connor. A soldier named Kyle Reese also arrives from the future on a mission to protect the Sarah Connor that the Terminator intends to kill.
When I was watching the Terminator for the first time this spring, it was with my friends Logan, Alex, and Nick. It was a great experience as there was no moment during the film when I was bored. The Terminator series is an amazing piece of film. The Terminator for its time was a cinematic masterpiece, as the cinematography was a paragon of ingenuity and creativity the likes of which had rarely been seen thus far. The Film is so well renowned in fact that it is one of the few films in the United States National Film Registry for preservation. This movie is truly a must watch for anyone that likes classics or “old” movies in general. It might not hold up to today's cinematic standards but it’s still an amazing movie.

The music was extremely fitting and great to listen to. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Michael Biehn truly pulled the film with their stoic and stalwart acting. The Terminator was an amazing watch and enormously entertaining. I would recommend it to anyone looking to pass the time or looking for a great movie to watch.

"Edge of Tomorrow" Review

"Edge of Tomorrow"

Spoilers Ahead
This Week I will be reviewing "Edge of Tomorrow"
In the year 2015 half of Continental Europe is invaded by an extraterrestrial race known as the mimics five years later in the year 2020 NATO and other nations form an Alliance to known as the United Defense Force but have only ever succeeded once against the Mimics they manage to repel the invasion but only managing to hold them at English Channel. In Britain the UDF Commander General Brigham(Brenden Gleeson) orders Major William Cage(Tom Cruise) to the front as part of a PR campaign. Cage being a public affairs officer with no real training refuses, going as far attempting to blackmail the Commander. The Commander has him arrested and shipped off to a forward operating base where he has been demoted and marked as a deserter and put into J squad under Master Sergeant Farell(Bill Paxton). The UDF launch the invasion but fails horribly falling into a mimic trap. Cage manages to kill a large mimic but dies after being covered in its blood. He wakes up at base the same morning he arrived there and attempts to warn the other soldiers of the invasion's failure, no one believes him and he is pressed into the invasion again. Cage relieves the invasion over and over. The visuals and effects were great the invasion scene is extremely well done. The acting was great Tom Cruise does an amazing job showing how battered and futile the time loop has made him feel. Emily Blunt does an amazing job as the determined elite soldier. Edge of Tomorrow is an immensely entertaining  movie, I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exciting Sci Fi action movie or anyone looking to pass some time.
