Starring Matthew McConaughey as Joseph "Coop" Cooper, Anne Hathaway as Dr. Amelia Brand, Jessica Chastain as  Murphy "Murph" Cooper, Bill Irwin as TARS and CASEY,  Michael Caine as Professor Brand.

The plot of Interstellar follows a future set in the late 21st century harried by crop blights that threaten the survival of humanity. Joseph Cooper, a windowed retired NASA pilot runs a farm with his family his father-In-law , son Tom. and his daughter Murphy. Living in a post truth society where things like the space race are fiction. Murphy is finds his way to a NASA run in secret by his old Professor Brand. Professor Brand reveals to Coop that the earth is on the brink of collapse and its time is limited, he asks Coop as one of the only NASA pilots left alive to join a mission to find a new habitable world for humanity.

Interstellar was a spectacular movie. The special effects in the film were amazing and captivating. The cinematography for the film was epic. The acting was also just great especially from Matthew McConaughey's character Joseph Cooper. The music was engrossing and complemented the movie's environments amazingly. I would highly recommend this film to anyone looking to pass time or an amazing film.

District 9 was a science fiction film Directed by Neil Blomkamp, Written by Neil Blomkamp and Terri Tatchell. The film Stars Sharlto Copley as Wikus Van de Merwe, Jason Cope as Christopher Johnson and Grey Badman, David James as Colonel Koobus Veneter, Nathalie Bolitt as Sarah Livingstone, Mandla Gaduka as Fundiswa Mhlanga, Eugene Khumban as Obesanjdo and Louis Minnaar as Piet Smit.

The plot of district 9 Follows an alternate history earth where in 1982 an alien spaceship stopped inexplicably stopped over the South African city of Johannesburg. On board the ship an investigation discovers a population of malnourished aliens called prawns. The South African government traps the prawns in an area they dub "District 9" to police this area the South African government hires a Private Military Company known as Multinational United abbreviated as MNU relocate the prawns to a new internment zone. A bureaucrat by the name of Wikus Van de Merwe is sent to lead the relocation process.

District 9 was a spectacular movie it was the first film by Neil Blomkamp, I ever watched it still remains an iconic movie to me. The acting was top notch yet again the film starred one of my favourite actors Sharlto Copley. The film had spectacular special effects and animation. District 9 really captured at the time I watched it a feeling of desperation and a crushing denial within the character of "Wikus Van de Merwe". District 9 was an all around amazing movie and I would definitely recommend it o anyone who hasn't seen it, it is a must watch.
