This week I will be reviewing "Inglorious Basterds"

Inglorious Basterds is an American-German Film written and directed by Quentin Tarantino. The cinematography was done by Robert Richardson.Starring Brad Pitt as First Lieutenant Aldo Raine, Christoph Waltz as SS Colonel Hans Landa, Michael Fassbender as Lieutenant Archie Hicox, Eli Roth as Staff Sergeant Donny Donowitz, Diane Kruger as Bridget Von Hammersmark, Til Schweiger as Sergeant Hugo Sterwitz, Daniel Bruhl as Private First Class Friedrick Zoller, and Melanie Laurent as Shosanna Dreyfus.

The plot is set in an alternate history  World War 2 with 2 separate plots to assassinate Nazi Germany's Political leadership. The story  follows 3 separate perspectives the Basterds' a group of Jewish American Soldiers operating in Nazi occupied France, spreading fear throughout the German ranks and using guerrilla warfare. The perspective of Hans Landa an SS Colonel known as the Jew Hunter who has arrived in France. Also the perspective of Shosanna Dreyfus a Jewish cinema owner in who has gained the infatuation of a German soldier.

Inglorious Basterds was an amazing film there wasn't a moment when I was bored, the film was engaging, fun and extremely interesting. The acting was amazing the usage of different languages and the obscuring of information in particular subtitles for when a different language is being spoken depending on which perspective we were seeing, was an amazing touch.  The acting by pretty much all of the characters was amazing. This film was 100% entertaining and enjoyable I would highly recommend to anyone watch this film.

This week I will be reviewing Pacific Rim

Pacific Rim is a Science fiction monster film Directed by legendary director Guillermo Del Torro, the screenplay was done by Guillermo Del Toro and  Travis Beacham. It was written by Travis Beacham. The cinematography was done by  Guillermo Navarro. The Film Stars Charlie Hunnam as Raleigh Becket, Idris Elba as Stacker Pentecost, Rinko Kukuchi as Mako Mori, Charlie Day as Dr. Newton Geiszler, Max Martini as Herc Hansen, Robert Kazinsky as Chuck Hansen and Ron Perlman as Hannibal Chou.

The Plot of Pacific Rim follows a world where in an interdimensional portal opened at the bottom of the Pacific ocean, giant monsters known as Kaiju rise from the portal and began attacking all over the pacific. In response humanity unites to combat the threat and creates the Jaegar program, the program Produces Giant Mechas controlled by two or more mentally linked individuals, to reduce mental strain the machines puts on them in a process called drifting.

Pacific Rim was an amazing movie the Special FX and CGI were spectacular every fight scene was vivid and great to watch. Pacific Rim was exciting, fun and a great time. The acting was great all of the main characters and a few of the supporting characters were extremely likable and realistic. Idris Elba's Character Stacker Pentacost, Charlie Hunnam's Character Raleigh Becket, and Rink Kukuchi's Character Mako Mori all had great character development in the film a thing lacking in most films these nowadays.  I would highly recommend this film to anyone who hasn't seen it.
